I've made a series of 7 very important questions that I'm interviewing myself on to provide the answers for them. I'm interviewing myself because I'm doing something outside the normal, which creates Top of Mind Awareness (TOMA). Additionally, it is indeed my belief that you will comprehend the questions and answers on a much deeper level. The deeper comprehension comes from the dialogue going back and forth in an interview format. With regards to this article, I'm only asking and answering question 1 of the series.

Question 1 Let's get right to the point. Whenever you visit my office for any consultation, I've got a sign behind my desk, in my office so that you can notice it once you walk in. All of my clients see it; when they don't see it on their own, I point it out to them. Exactly what does the sign say and why do I have got that sign behind my desk? So why do I want you to look at it every time you walk into my office?

I have never seen other people who has anything like this sign. I've been invited into a large amount of folks offices and been invited to their home offices. Almost everyone has little cute sayings posted here or there around the walls or even the desk. However, that did not jive with me in my office. I needed something more in my clients as they are coming into my office inside my house using the wishes to change their business as well as their lives. What I realized is I'm helping these individuals with their business, to grow their business, and so i felt the duty to complete more than motivate them with nice cute sayings. I desired something powerful with a lot of punch to obtain and keep their attention.

Yes, I noticed they needed something since there was this syndrome causing "the deficiency of attention." What I learned by conducting a lot of countless consultations over many years is that everybody tends to get off track. It had been as if they couldn't keep a clear head. It was as if I were the only one playing 8 ball, and everyone else aimed at another ball. I desired something short, simple, and impactful to get these to allow me to guide them and help them learn to hit the 8 ball, too. Nobody could stay focused around the 8 ball until I created this statement.

When you're playing pool, you should be strategizing which balls you hit. You think ahead to determine where the cue ball bounces back so that you set up the knocking by the 8 ball. I had an expert pool player teach me that certain time. I figured, well, it is the same thing for your business. You ought to be staying focused on everything you do with your skills on the 8 ball, the figurative business 8 ball. I noticed that lots of consulting clients never mastered the main focus from the business 8 ball. They always scattered their efforts on each one of these great ideas. You know the condition that creates a concept after a concept after an idea.

In response to their lack of attention, a responded with a little phrase called "STI - Stop the Ideas," because everyone has them. Honestly, I get exactly the same way sometimes, but the phrase on my desk makes me think a little different than a lot of people. Once I get all these ideas, I come right back to the 8 ball never losing focus. Therefore, to respond to the question which will certainly help you, the listener, the sign that you'll see whenever you visit my house into my office as a coaching client is the most essential question of the business, "What's the fastest way to the cash?" That saying is just a fun way of saying you need to stay focused on the 8 ball. You have got to stay focused on the ROI, the Return on Investment, which is your business 8 ball.
